System of a Down always seemed like a mesh of Dead Kennedys, Mr. Bungle, and Rage Against the Machine to me. turned out pretty good. their self titled rocks...

They did dumbass. The new music called for more double bass stuff. Also the guitarist introduced the drummer to a lot of black metal which features double bass.

I dont like how system have no real flow with their music. the speed metal stuff is ok but as soon as you begin to enjoy the fast stuff they go to slow music, then ur just about to hum along to the slow stuff and they take off at a million miles an hour again.

But mesmerize is quite good overall. All 36 minutes of it lol

Default System Of A Down.... >:)

well SOAD are pretty k, considering they are more of a 'pop rock' genre.. and ahhh .. well lm no pop person! Chop suey .. an old fav! probley the best song l've heard of theirs .... some others l guesscould be rated highly, but none as high as its successor (chop suey).. imo...
