System of a Down (rock, cd, single, albums, member)

I Know a couple of ppl who have the SOAD album ' Mesmerize' heard its about as exciting as watching paint dry from some and that its enough to cause cardiac arrest from others.. .
So l found a median l am comfortable with ... OK but NO not album of the year material!

I think its a serious contender at this point in time. Heres what we have to consider though:

1.) this is only half of what will be considered a double album, so it will be judged with its counterpart
2.) Its only the 6 month in a year of 12, we have the christmas rush to deal with yet.
3.) They tend not to make single oriented albums, those bands that format for radio will more than likly eek them out, but Mezmerize is quite the album.

And yeah, thats an amazing song... I think my favourites on that album would be Cigaro, the last two Hollywood tracks and Question!.

The only songs i like from SOAD is chop suey and aerials. The rest i think are crap.

I got their new album Mezmerize, people think that Byob is the best song.. Hell no.. Revenga kicks byob's ass, so does Violent Pornography, Old School Hollywood, and another I cant remember. It's a great cd though, almost all the songs rock.

Cannot stand this band in the slightest!!!!! and i dont want to put down to many die hard SOD fans by saying that iv heard a better tune come outta my arse....coz to be quite honest i have!
