If you lived in Pontiac, you'd think the same as them. Its really bad. And dont forget the purpose as mentioned above ^ Patriotism rules them.

On a lighter note, I just looked at your sig and had to say something about Belle and Sebastian-"stars of track and field". Its a great song.

Yes, but their choices are limited. The richer you are, the more you can do with your life.

I'm poor, my whole family is, we live below the national standard meaning we live in poverty. My sister hasn't got a draft letter. Neither has her boyfriend. Poor people would normally go into service because it pays good money for their family, besides complaining about a war is like spitting on a fire, it doesn't do shit.

And yes Ethan is right about Green Day they at least went out of their normal range more than SOAD did. Also don't you find it a little hypocritical that they preach that the US is using propaganda to get people to do things but they are doing the same? Even look at the BYOB video it shows maked men fully clothed in black marching to the same drum. And you could of picked a better song than that BYOB just sucks.

Anyways Static-X is still better because Wanye has good vocal control and they remind me of KMFDM and Ministry. SOAD reminds me of KoRn with a propaganda complex

Choices are limited? Its a yes or no choice, if they wanna choose to fight in a war they can and don't talk to me about living in "bad towns" like i'm some stuck up rich kid. I lived in seattle for a period of time and now I live in a really bad side of olympia, and am I joining the army because I choose to believe "my choices are limited?". Nope, i'm starting a band and getting a job and slowly saving my money up for college. People can do whatever they want with their lives if they put their mind to it. You aren't doomed to mediocrity just because your town sucks.

i've been to see s.o.a.d live twice and they go up there with the title of 'one of the best live bands i've ever seen' along with metallica, maiden, alice cooper ect. they're a great band. static x have never appealed to me and have nothing on s.o.a.d.

This is a somewhat pointless thread, but I pick Static-X.
