its really good! i'm at a loss for adjectives right now, but yeah, it seems their sphere of musical influences has really ballooned. can't wait to hear more.

The decision to release the two discs six months apart was made simply to give fans time to get into and really live with the music from Disc One before plunging into Disc Two.

Ok fair enough, but when kiss would release two discs a year they were never assigned the title "double disc." And Kiss, like AC/DC had a sound so similar across the board you might be able to say they had one 14 disc album.

lol......System wrote some thirty tracks for "Mezmerize/Hypnotize" and recorded them at their producers studio between June and November of 2004......So if they wrote and recorded all the songs at the same time...then that probably allows them to call it a double disc. That's just my idea from what I've heard about it. That situation differentiates it a little from the whole AC/DC and Kiss thing.

ok then the Load twins from Metallica are a double disc? And wouldn't all the songs the wrote during Toxicity that appeared on Steal this album, thats a double disc. Anyways...

SOAD is the new old Metallica. The single is great and frankly I think we can expect a career of logevity and solid music production.

Probably the new member of the few bads that have the ability to play stadiums (well) which only a few bands ever can do.

I really love what SOAD has done to music... The guys bring something new, for example, I loved there song AEIEAO I think thats it, well, that song was so hardcore and random... What gets better than that? yeah, I love there new single, and can't wait for the arrival of the new CD(s). Although I don't agree with their political beliefs, but... this is not a political chat room, so we will leave it at that.
