You are the idiot if you think they aren't a politically based band.
They write songs about Bush and the war, and sure, one song doesn't make you a political band. But being political doesn't mean just writing about George Bush. They have songs about the Armenian government and the genocide they inflict on their people. 95% of their songs touch on different political issues. They just write them poorly.

Fine if you can consider war and a genocide to be political then they do have more political songs, there. But do lyrics really matter? Does it really matter what they say, when you could be just enjoying the music?

Well considering that a lot to most music is vocally based I think that's a dumb question.
