Yeah, Raine. Daron has a new band, sadly. Even though he's pretty much the only writer I know it'll be worse than SOAD because he'll be the main and only singer. His voice is horrible.

I have never listened to a SOAD track or album for the lyrics. I'm in it solely for the isntrumentals. (Chop Suey and Aerials are exceptions)
And since SOAD has had their 15 minutes of fame and they're doomed to become has beens I imagine any side project from here on out will suck.
It was good while they lasted.

Maybe I cans sell my ticket stubs from their concerts on ebay back when they were good. Like two years ago when I saw them live. I think I can get maybe 300 hundred for it by the end of the year. What do you think?

I don't like their newer albums either, the lyrics to 3/4 of the songs suck because Daron wrote. But some of the songs (U-Fig, Tentative, Holy Mountains, This Cocaine...) are pretty good and thought out. Daron should just go back to playing guitar and occaisionally singing.

I hear y'all on the fact that SOAD's lyrics are "catchier" now. Sometimes it's good... sometimes it's not. If a song isn't good to me, and its lyrics/tune are catchy, then it pisses me off. If a song is good (to me), and the lyrics/tune are catchy, then I don't mind.

But if catchy means more accessible, then... okay? It's still good music. Just... catchier... I guess. Maybe I'm not getting your guys' point with this. I find a catchy tune/lyric set refreshing once in a while. Just not a sickening catchiness.

In any case, SOAD's earlier albums are higher quality than the most recent ones.

You contradicted yourself here. And are you really trying to defend a once good now turned sh*t band like SOAD?
They were greta in the beginning. They had their 15 minutes of fame and now their time is over.
