Between The Buried And Me
Anyone like them? The are a hardcore band with metal and spacey rock tendencies. Very fast and very talented. Their songs are almost chaotic with alot of tempo changes and random riffs thrown in. Also they have THE heaviest breakdowns I've ever heard (they edge out On Broken Wings just by a little). Thei currently on tour with Converge and Glass Casket. I've seen them live twice and they are so good its scary. You guys into Hardcore should definitly check them out.

I already love em. That's a pretty good description though haha.
|

^ Prayer For Cleansing i grand indeed. I only recently hear them cause I was looking up suff on Paul Waggoner (the guitarist). I found his old band.

how are they "emo" because in two songs on the first cd and 2 songs on the second they have acoustic and sung vocals? |
Between The Buried And Me!!!!!
fucking fucking fucking amazing! yes, it deserves three fuckings! lol. i'm listening to their self-titled right now. pure genius in my opinion. ive never heard such a great combonation of death metal, metalcore, and emo. :D cant get enough of it.

Orgasmic. |
Finaly this band is getting some attention, why the hold up?
|
The video for Mordecai is creepy yet hilarious at the same time.
Good song, though. I love "The Man's Land" or whatever that song is called... |
hidden tracks crush.
my favorite band. Best songs include, Aspirations, Mordecai, Arsonist, The Primer, Aesthetic, Alaska, Crokies and Boatshoes. hell they have no bad songs. |
i havent been able to catch what the song is called, but he sings "theeeere's a beeeeter waaaaaayy"....... thats my favorite song next to Mordecai and Alaska. i fucking LOVE that Alaska solo!!!!! That vocalist needs to win some award for his amazing singing. That guy definitely knows how to sing.

1. More Of Myself To Kill 2. Arsonist 3. Aspirations 4. What We Have Become 5. Fire For A Dry Mouth 6. Naked By The Computer 7. Use Of A Weapon 8. Shevnel Cut A Flip Words can hardly describe my love for this album. It's singularly perfect. Every song writhes with emotion and power. Every note expresses itself and every word carries meaning. This album got me into heavy music. I first heard the self-titled disc about 3 years ago, and I still listen to it several times a week. No matter what type of music you listen to, you HAVE to get this cd. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3ABGO0H0 |
This album is like sex in music forum except I have it.
|
awesome band, awesome album.. enough said.
|
I will be seeing them tomorrow.
I'll be happy if they play Destructo Spin or Selkies. |
Lucky dude.
I've seen 'em 4 times so I can't complain haha. And last time I saw them (back in May) they played All Bodies, Selkies, Roboturner, Arsonist, and Mordecai. Odds of them playing Destructo Spin are low. |
No Destructo Spin.
They did play Mordecai, and I think Alaska and Arsonist. Not too familiar with them. Good god I hate what mosh pits are now. |
Where do you live? Around here it's more scene kids pretending to dance.
|
Cleveland, and yes that's basically it.
I only had empty water bottles to throw at them. |
I feel your pain. I just make fun of them. Throwing things is only half satisfying
|
At least most of them were only there for Bleeding Through and Between the Buried and Me, and left before Dragonforce. They would have totally clashed with the power metal fury.
|
Of course, Ian, first post a myspace bulletin and then make a thread of it here lol.
|
BTBAM is one of the most amazing bands ive ever heard.
|
|
man, i was gonna start a new thread on this, but good thing i searched first
but yeah, one of my favorite bands, Colors is the **** |

They're so incredible live. Seeing them for the second time on Friday night in Atlanta. I'm hoping they'll play White Walls or Selkies this time around, since they didn't when I saw them last year in Knoxville.
|
My favorite band....as u can tell by my name
|
You know, I just randomly happened across this group via YouTube and was kind of intrigued. I like their sound, but there's something that puts me off about them. I'm not quite sure what it is. Then again, there are a lot of groups that do this exact thing to me.
My initial impression was that I like them. Lol, my long-winded-ness; let me show you it. |

:yikes: is it cuz they are white? |
Amazing musicians with remarkable versatility, but I get a little burned out with Tommy's low end vocals. They're kinda thin, you know? And they tend to go on for too long. The guy can sing like a bastard, though, and he doesn't skimp on the nasty live. I still love the band. I'm happy if a song of theirs is stuck in my head.
