If I had to make a list of my 5 favorite bands EVER, Xasthur would be on it. Nothing more needs to be said....oh, how many of you have checked out Scott's post-Xasthur acoustic project, Nocturnal Poisoning? Contact him over Facebook and get it, it's really cool. It's like..Xasthur..but instrumental and acoustic. I LOVE it, but I can see how someone could hate it, especially since it isn't black metal. I just got the CD in the mail a couple of days ago and it's been dominating my stereo.

The only trve kvlt acoustic black metal is Impaled Northern Moonforest.

I'm assuming that he's saying that Pitchfork (which I'm given to understand is considered a hipster music site), gave Revenge (a band that HHBH has shown support for) a good review, which would imply that Revenge is in some way associated with hipster metal as well.
