Maybe they are, but if wikipedia proclaims Black Sabbath to be "Nu-metal" then I'm weary to trust anything else they say.

Wanna quote the bit where it says Sabbath are Nu-Metal?

"Influenced by Sabbath" is all I can see. And from the last page, yep, Staind are Nu-Metal-ish.

Incase it wasn't made clear, Black Sabbath was put on that list as an influence of numetal, not a band that ever played numetal.Putting things in another way, Black Sabbath should be credited as an influence on any style of heavy metal or hardrock.The same goes for Judas Priest when it comes to being an influence on any metal or hardrock musician.
