EDGE 02-05-2006 08:25 PM

I remember seeing that one..

:)

My.Heart.Your.Hands 05-14-2006 03:10 PM

Wow I Like Senses Fail, Buried A Lie its great.!

Kripes 05-21-2006 04:09 PM

Their EP sucked, but their Full-length debut was awesome. They're actually really good live too.

melodramatic_romanticism 05-26-2006 07:34 PM

I mean, I really like them and all, but LEt It Enfold You sounded like one long song im sorry. and Buddy Nielson cant really sing... sounds flat. but i really like the lyrics. very poetic lol.

one_more_atrocity 06-04-2006 07:38 AM

think senses fail are awesome, i'll probably say that i prefer their old stuff more but theres not much in it, i like all their suff, hopefully going to see them on thier next tour over here with their new album :)

Sound Devastation 06-04-2006 11:13 AM

ive seen them live, they were horrible.

one_more_atrocity 06-11-2006 10:14 AM

Senses Fail

just wondering what people are thinking of this band?? i know they've been around for a while now but if you havent heard of their stuff there definately worth looking up, me myself, i like them alot.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 06-11-2006 10:20 AM

hi.

& meh.
not mind-numbingly awful, lyrics can be fairly embarassing though.

swim 06-11-2006 10:25 AM

um, one more atrocity, did you forget that you posted in the other thread last week? ...i'll try to get someone to merge it. I don't like this band. It's way too poppy, the music is just plainly poorly writen, and stuff like this makes me look stupid when I say I like emo.

one_more_atrocity 06-11-2006 10:26 AM

oops! =( yar i forgot to search to see if there had been any threads on them recently & i couldnt remember any in the near past....

Please....use the search.

As for Senses Fail....meh..they aren't all that good. The lyrics are pretty cliche and boring and their lack of musical skill doesn't make up for it. It may just be me, but I find absolutely nothing new or interesting about this band at all.

Jonny Sniper 06-27-2006 02:48 PM

ermm....i think im seeing them.
on this UK taste of chaos thing. but ive never listened to them..

ArtistInTheAmbulance 06-28-2006 12:55 PM

woah, i listened to senses fail today.
for the first time in fecking YONKS.
really, its been about 8 months or something stupid.
i kinda missed them, in an innocent&ignorant sort of way.
theyre fun, if you dont listen too hard :)

Is there any way you could upload the album onto YSI for me? I want it so bad!

Here's my CD collection...I would give you anything

I saw this band today, they were okay. Not great by any means, and they had the bass turned up way too high.
The only good part was watching this kid who I had been talking to on and off throughout the day, try to crowd surf while he was wasted. He ended up busting his eye on the pavement and the guy in Sense Fail said "Um...holy sh*t, that guy is bleeding from the eye"

Then the paramedics proceeded to take him away.

"Still Searching" 10/10/06

...

Loser 02-25-2007 12:27 PM

A great hardcore band Buried A Lie and Car Underwater are great songs.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 02-25-2007 12:47 PM

ahah. this thread is nostalgia&innocence, summed up quite nicely.

:)

although , serious question;
i never got the latest album.
& never trusted the people who reccomended it.
anyone i can trust got any views?

Loser 02-25-2007 12:52 PM

If you're used to the old Senses Fail, Still Searching may take some getting used to It has a more rock-centered sound.

I doubt you trust me but here is my review.

can_i_say 02-25-2007 02:16 PM

Instead of thier old, style defining emo sound?

acratertocoffin 02-25-2007 03:04 PM

Wow, this thread is funny.

I heard Still Searching sucks. They played a song off it for their set at Warped Tour and the crowd did a collective WTF?! It was terrible.

Loser 02-25-2007 03:05 PM

What song?

acratertocoffin 02-25-2007 03:09 PM

The single. They're pretty good live, but they did an "acoustic set" a few hours later, which was just them playing acoustic guitar with distortion and sitting down. It was like their live set with down syndrome, and it was pretty God awful.

Loser 02-25-2007 03:25 PM

I'm not a fan of acoustic shows anyway so no matter what song any band plays acoustic I most likely gonna hate.

But with this and the Hawthorne Heights comment, you lasted an hour.

I did look around but because this thread is now basically a punching bag of you, (like most threads end up coincidentally) I figured a simple question and welcome back was in order.

Loser 02-25-2007 04:02 PM

Dude I didn't mean anything by it.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 02-25-2007 04:08 PM

You should probably just... give up conscious though. Leave it all to instinct.

acratertocoffin 02-25-2007 04:25 PM

Yeah, weird weekend. I felt... bad. Now I don't. So we're good.

Raine 02-27-2007 06:59 PM

They're ok.
I had a lot more appreciation for them a few years ago. I think they're trying to go in a new direction with their new album and the song Calling all Cars.
I don't particulary like them too much anymore. But they are one of the bands I'm looking forward to seeing at the taste of Chaos tour
