Default Tummler

Tummler are a 4 piece band from Illinois, USA. Originating in mid 1998 these guys have gone on to release 2 full albums and an early EP. Their sound is generally heavy and intoxicatingly thick, you can hear the likes of Corrosion Of Conformity, Electric Wizard, Clutch, Sleep. But they're not completely mind-numbingly heavy start to finish, there is a wealth of creativity between the rhythm and lead guitar that makes things far more worth your while than an average stoner/doom outfit.

The vocals aren't too intrusive eather, you know sometimes theres those bands you want to like but you just can't enjoy them when theres some annoying vox blocking the way. Brad Buldak sounds like a range of people, mainly I pick up Pepper Keenan of COC, and he has good variation which makes Tummler an alround package. All in all this is a fantastic doom tainted rock experiance.

I was amped to receive their first full length album in the mail today, 'Queen To Bishop VI'. 6 blistering tracks (technically 5, the first one is some filler), I'm dead keen to get their last effort 'Early Man'.

Dr. Hill - Bass
Cas - Guitar
J. Vance - Drums
Brad Buldak - Guitar/vocals

I really couldn't stand the vocals but as far as instrumental goes they're really good.

Oh really? Lol bugger me.

I thought they sounded quite 'normal', nothing too outside the square. But then again I haven't listened to much of the stuff they've got online.

Good to hear you sorta liked the band though.
