I like the Curse. Buthonestly I like A Deathgrip on yesterday better, tho i know most dont like it cuz it is more metal-y. or something.

I've only got 'A Death Grip on Yesterday' and I don't like what I hear. I like the vocals though..

Wait a second didn't Atreyu play at Warped Tour and Ozzfest. So they must be a mix of metal and hardcore they couldn't be one more than the other.

mmm...they're music is more metal, on the new album, anway....there are *some* parts of *some* songs that could be called hardcore- like in "Ex's and Oh's" right before he says "But I'd slit my throat" ...I dont know, thats the only example I can come up with right now.

I do agree their music is more metal then emo but in some songs it is screamo which is what i like which is why i listen to them.

yeah, I like the vocals. They incorporate a few different styles, which is why I like them.

They are kinda like a softcore/metal lol. I just made that up. But i have all their CDs they have ever released. They have been changing each cd. But they are all pretty good. But i like the older stuff better. Because im more into hardcore

has anyone noticed that the drumming gets progressively less interesting on every album, and the singing gets progressively better?

Anyways, I'm the least impressed with their latest release. It's got a couple solid songs, but nothing that carries quite as much wieght as the songs off their previous albums. I don't expect much at all from whatever they release in the future, as it seems that their music has gotten progressively worse with each release.......and I'm a fan of the band..

I've always hated them. I tend to not be an elitist about music in general but something about mixing metal with a more mainstream sounds wrecks the metal elements for me while not adding enough to the mainstream sound to make it more appealing. The music just comes out sounding confused, and bad.
