is this band hardcore? i think not. and i dont like them, but that doesnt mean i hate them. there are lots of bands who are better than them. stereotypical.

i lump them in the (new) post-hardcore movement, with bands such as across five aprils, as cities burn, at all cost, blessthefall, chiodos, etc.

basically, bands that either

a) fuse metalcore with melodic (wimpy lololz) vocals and interludes, and/or
b) fuse the sounds of punk, metal(core), and hardcore.

regardless, though, they are certainly not hardcore.
