Yes you are right he is a badass but Cliff Burton is still Amazing considering the fact that he died before he could become as well known for it as Steve Harris

What are you talking about?...Burton is way more popular, primarly because of his death and because hes in a more popular band, not because he is a better bassist...Burton had barely been playing for over a decade, Harris has been playing for 3 decades.

I'm not saying thats what made him amazing i'm saying he did alot of amazing things conse=idering how long he lived. If he would have lived longer then who knows how good he could have become

A bit off topic here, but is it just me or is Fieldy of Korn the most overrated piece of sh1t to walk the earth. I haven't listened to a huge amount of Korn, but from what I've heard, it's just him slapping a bass string which is looser than Britney Spears' anal cavity. It just seems to have no melody at all. In fact, it's so monotonous that it occasionally sounds a bit like something on the drums, and makes the drummer seem better than he actually is. Maybe someone would like to tell me some good Korn basslines. And it leads to my friend thinking he's the best bassist ever - his other reason for saying that is that Fieldy is *good* enough to play a 6 string bass lol.

I think a lot of you guys need to listen to RHCP's older stuff (e.g. Freaky Styley, Mother's Milk, Uplift Mofo Party Plan and perhaps BSSM) before even commenting on Flea. Of course many of you have, but I'm sure that many haven't as well.
