how are they improved?

Well with every band or bands that founded a genre more bands arise mixing what the founders have done and putting there own spin on it. Is that a bad thing that bands are doing that now a days. They improved because Saetia's vocals are horrible it made my ears bleed when I heard them, now listening to bands like Silverstein, Saosin and Chiodos is like breathing in fresh and purified air minus the crap.

Saetia vocal>Silverstein vocals.

There are current bands that aren't poppy watered down and removed from emo. Fiction Like Non-Fiction, Wolverines, Boa Narrow, there really isn't a lack of it.

I don't like those bands but how can you pick saetia's vocals over silverstein. The vocalist of saetia has no talent and it seemed like he was touching himself while singing (if that's what you call it) Atleast the guys from silverstein work there butts off to please there fans period.

Have you even heard those bands? At least Billy was original. And I can't imagine people renting a van and going cross country with barely any money anything less than working their butts off to please their fans.

I highly doubt you've gone far enough into screamo to have listened to Fiction Like Non-Fiction, Wolverines or Boa Narrow especially if you don't like screamo. Which you don't because genres don't change for new bands. Genre criteria is permanent and doesn't change. So these new bands would be best described as pop post-hardcore.

In your dreams dude emo/screamo has evolved into what it is today and it's better in my opinion dude. If you think Alesana and Heavy Heavy Low Low aren't screamo then you really are liveing in the past. I've heard of those bands as a matter of fact i'm listening to Fiction Like Non Fiction now and I really hate it *turns off song* it sounds hrrible the recording is crap and I've heard bad recording before but that was bad. Modern emo/screamo has evolved into this amazing thing the only thing I can't get of my mind is how the hell did great modern emo/screamo bands come from the same roots as saetia and fiction like non fiction.

You really think you know more than me? Like what I say has no weight to it whatsogoddamnever? Whatever just be an ignorant fool. Who gives a shit. Current bands couldn't come from FFLNF because they've only been around for a year or two and there recordings are pretty good compared to a lot of bands out. I know the scene better than everyone on this forum except for chickendude. And the bands you're talking about aren't emo. I won't argue with you because you don't listen.
