Do you ever feel like parts of Thunderroad sounds like a Christmas Song, and at others Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage"?

Maybe its just that 70's Sax, but everytime I think, did they have the same guys backing them on this or what? (album version I mean)

...never made me think of Zappa...listen...I don't hear the resemblence to Joe's Garage...

I was always a John Couger fan myself, verses Springsteen. Cherry Bomb is probably one of my favorite by Couger. That's just my opinion and preference concerning Springsteens music.

John Cougar's material contains more funk and soul as an artist. (For me anyway). Just listen to Cherry Bomb by John Cougar..whats Springsteen's got that's so much better musically than Cherry Bomb?
