Default Stoner Doom

I haven't really listened to much of it, but what I have listened to I like. I am looking to find some more. Does anyone here like Stoner Doom?

K I will check out those bands.

Yeah I don't really get stoned to music or in general. I am a Christian and I like to follow the laws and not get drunk. Plus I am under-aged.

Generally, Stoner Doom is my home

InvokeTheDarkAge mentioned Sleep. I'm not going to lie to you, these guys were the pinnacle of all that has and ever will be.

Seriously, start with Sleep's Holy Mountain, listen to all the other bands, then come back and finish yourself of with Sleep's Dopesmoker. They are that good.

Otherwise, I'll add to the list:

Goatsnake
Graves At Sea
Warhorse
High On Fire
YOB
Ultraphallus (one of the lamest names ever, yeah? Not a bad band however)
Sons Of Otis
Negative Reaction
Mammatus

Of those Goatsnake and Warhorse are excellent, as is High On Fire.

I think the one Stoner Doom band was YOB and I thought they were pretty good. And I might as well take your advice on the Sleep thing. It wouldn't hurt to try.

Graves at Sea are a must... also Harvey Milk, Ufomammut, Jesu (but only the self-titled album) and Om!

I still haven't heard Harvey Milk, I don't know how many times I've had the opportunity to listen to them and I haven't. Something I need to fix.

Cathedral is another good Stoner Doom band.

Jesu is like Post-Rock isn't it? I have only heard a few songs from them.
