But then I like a lot of the drummers mentioned so far.

Lol Ethan you make some really stupid statements sometimes. That same stab goes for most genres, still doesn't detract from those who make it really good.

Ehhhh maybe so but the ones that are good are damn good. Mastodon is probably the only popular metal band that is any good right now. As far as any metal band......probably estradasphere or ephel duath.

The best drummer ever is Vinnie Colaiuta. He absolutely blew my mind when I saw him live with Herbie Hanc0ck.

My favourite rock/metal drummers are Martin Lopez, Neil Peart and Danny Carey.

I think i'd go with Neil Peart, but that's just my opinion. Mastodon is really good though. (Linoleum Knife is one of my favorite songs)
