Frost is right. He does make a batch of threads everyonce in awhile and almost all the time they fall to the bottom. That's why we're trying to educate people about the various styles of music.

But Frost saying that something is terrible and not providing why you think that isn't going to make people try to get into your music. reccomend a band that does it better, or did it first. That's what we're asking.

now if you'll excuse me, The 5th Element is on. and I love this movie

I try to go to purevolume or somewhere else to find any band that is listed, but if I don't care for them too much, instead of making a post about how bad they are, i just ignore it.

Depends, do you want real emo? or watered down pop-rock/pop-punk that calls itself emo?

if the former, check out: Rites of Spring, Saetia, Still Life
if the latter, check out: Taking Back Sunday, The Starting Line, Acceptance

No, Rites of Spring has Guy Picciotto from Fugazi, not Ian. But yeah, that wasnt me trying to sway you from listening to them. Theyre still good.

And no, Ive never actually heard IHM, but Ive been told not to, so mebbe one day when my limewire actually decides to work Ill have a listen.
