I have both albums, and "Songs About Jane" is a lot more interesting than "IWBSBL," I think they both have some pretty catchy pop songs.

I've liked Maroon 5 since I heard Harder to Breathe a long time ago, its already been several months and I still don't hate them.
Yea i completely agree. They used to be great, and continued to be so. People just think differently when they hit mainstream pop. (which is ridiculous btw)

Harder to breath was the song that hit me too. Nice choice.

I cannot figure you out Crowquil-MAROON 5 are such a middle of the road completely unoriginal pop band-and you like them-yet your tastes are not indicative of this. Maroon 5 are one of the safest bands I know. Still it takes many people to make the world go around.

Songs about Jane was a good album.
Not terrible, but not amazingly fantastic at the same time.

The new album isn't all that great.
It's like they put it out because royalties from Songs about Jane dried up or something.
The best song on the album would have to be the new single...I forget what it's called.

All in all, I find them mediocre and somewhat unoriginal.

I havent heard the new single. The last album was quite good though, but I cant for the life off me remember any songs from it off the top of my head, which means they are probably quite forgettable.

*goes off to dig out the album*

Let's see, bad electronica mixed with mainstream pop...Not really my thing but whatever. By the way Nothing Lasts Forever and I Won't Go Home Without You are way better than Makes Me Wonder.
