Ha, maybe. Swims like Jones has too much Jazz influence. I mean, the flute solo? Wtf was that, Maroon 5?

This band always shocks me with what they put out. If you'd asked me, when I first heard "Harder to Breath", if they'd last I'd have said "not a chance."

Dude, "payphone".... rocked it! I was really surprised because I hadn't paid too much attention to M5 before. I think I like the original (without WIZ) better.

Songs About Jane is a great pop album. I'll admit I still like that one, even though it's been a long time since I've listened to this band... It Won't Be Soon Before Long was good too. ^^ Maroon 5 is one of the few pop bands I've actually always kinda liked... Plus their singles are so f-ing catchy. Makes Me Wonder, Misery, This Love, Harder to Breathe, etc.

I don't mind Maroon 5... older Maroon 5. They were pretty uninspired in the grand-scheme of things, but nonetheless an easy listen. I wouldn't call them BAD... well that is until the latest album anyway. My favorite songs on that one were the bonus tracks.. which were originally supposed to be on the older albums anyway.

I don't think they're half bad honestly. I'd compare them to a modern day BEE-GEES. I think Levine might be better served to lay off the falsetto a little bit, but hes got some chops and writes decent enough pop diddies. His band is pretty solid in basic structure pop songs. I'm not gonna run out and buy records, but i'm also not gonna walk out of a party if their music is playing. Well except that Moves like Jagger song, good god.

It was catchy the first time. After that, you feel like ripping your ears off.
