Can't say I agree. Maroon 5 was okay......a year ago. I am not very excited to see them back. Fall Out Boy on the other hand, are still pretty good.

I don't think Fall Out Boy was ever good. Except for Dance Dance.

I just watched these guys get bashed for what I assume was being soulless. In the words of a famous sailor "thats all I can stands, I can't stands no more."

Leave it to the musically sloppy to not have artsy-ambiance shoved into their slobbering mugs and decree something as soulless. I see them all too often portrayed as something your mother can listen to. Maybe thats so, but whats that got to do with the music. This is a band endorsed by Prince. Your mother, by the way, also listens to Prince.

I think what throws people is that, vocally, they can land somewhere between Matchbox 20 and Savage Garden. Thats valid, they don't sound like a perverted sex midget, Anglo-Saxon poltergeists, or the grave-gargling cookie monsters.

If you're walking past someone you might confuse them for Disco or Under the Influence of Giants but I think the song-writing is on par with early police and they have a little James Brown in them. The drummer could get some flavor, but I love the twin guitars and the bass player knows how to sell a song.

So what the hell is wrong with these guys?

Wow, I just lost any shred of respect I had for Wiz Khalifa. The old adage is true, rappers have terrible taste in rock.

If I Never See Your Face Again is probably their best moment.

Kind of a one-note band, though. Not a huge fan. Adam Levine's voice is annoying.

Maroon 5 is just another example of the souless artists left wing-socialist, non commercial music lovers like myself have to put up with.

Gah, anything off of Songs About Jane, It Won't Be Soon Before Long, or even Hands All Over. I'm not a big fan of Overexposed, it lacks what their past albums had. Hands All Over was a stepping stone to where they are in terms of the poppyness (poppiness?) that they've reached with Overexposed, but I love Hands All Over. They've just got the technique down to making good, catchy music, and I can't blame them for that, but I'll probably stick to their first three albums more than Overexposed.
