Default The Official Dragonforce thread

Ok ill give you crack pots a chance, you've spoken about them enough to make me want to give them a shot.

What should I DL?

Please please please keep in mind im not a basement dwelling D&D player who has no social life, I appreciate you like some deep cut off an EP prior to their frist LP release, but forget that for 10 seconds and give me something thats somewhat acceisble.

Well, personly i think you would be saving computer bandwidth by not downloading Dragonforce, but oh well, you must be curious, so eat your heart out.

Herman Li dominates all other shred guitarist ever.

best song....hmmm the one about dragons and the night and battle and stuff.

but seriously, Fury of the Storm is damn good. really cool interlude before the solo.

Default So you like Dragonforce

Alright so many and many a year ago I belonged to another Music Message Board and its there where I got put through the ropes as a newb, it was also there that I discovered alot of badass music.

I was listening to "My Spirit will go on" because its been suggested so many times and I always think of the greatest metal song I've ever heard when I hear songs like this...

"Little Mac's Confession"

If you ever played Mike Tyson's Punch-Out (or later just Punch-Out after the rapes) you'll get the lyrics and the music, if not, well listen for the amazing song craft.

Blazzing Guitar Work, stratospheric vocals, sweet depressing instrumental lead in.

Its by a band called Game Over and if one of you clowns can get it to my harddrive so I can burn it Ill never make fun of...ok thats a lie anyways just listen to the damn song, I can never get enough of it.

Here try this http://http://www.ocremix.org/songs/...n_OC_ReMix.mp3

Give that link a min to load, damn sweeds.

I liked power/fantasy/epic/whatever metal for about a month. Then it started to get kind of old. Inside that month I did discover DragonForce and they were probably one of the better bands.

EDIT: actually, I was thinking of Power Quest. DragonForce is ok too though.

Yeah, Dragonforce is one of my favourite metal bands. And it's nice to see that one of the guitarists is from NZ. So awesome...

Dragonforce is a great band musically. The guitar work is great, and it blows you away with the speed. The vocals are also outstanding. The lyrics aren't that great, but the way that they're presented is Badass and makes up for them. A very uplifting band.
