Shadows Fall: The War Within
 

Their new album just hit the stores today. The album sounds good. My favorite song so far is "The Power of I and I". I hope I can see these guys again. They put on a great show. I heard that the album is $7.99 at Best Buy.

Ghost Of Past Failures owns this cd. Amazing song. One of the best solo's I've heard in a very long time. Amazing band, amazing cd. Everyone go buy it now.

Shadow's Fall...one of a VERY small number of bands that play real metal.
I wish them the best of luck and encourage everyone to buy their album.

I think that Shadows Fall is a talented up and coming metal band. I first heard of them in an interview with their drummer Jason Bittner, and I liked what he was saying about his techniques in double bass drumming. So I thought I'd check um out. I know how like no Nu Metal bands can get respect in these forums but o well...

i liek shadows fall. worth buying an album. but a bit underrated. should be less underground.

I've heard of this band, but don't think i've actually heard any of their music.. Wats cd called or good song suggestions? Someone describe their music is like..? Worth getting or not?

shadows fall sounds like a pretty corny band name, and its nu metal, so im stayin away from those guys.

more like thrash-ish metal kinda metalcore

whatever, i like some songs, but i dislike many, too.

great guitar work. vocals are ok. and their not new. been around for several years.

And they aren't "nu-metal". like itchy said they are more metalcore

Their newest cd is called The War Within... Some good song suggestions are "What Drives the Weak", "The Power of I and I", and "Act of Contrition".

I heard "the power of I and I" on the radio and now i'm hooked.

Shadows Fall has dissappointed me.....the art of balance was good...but when they csme out with war within....it was crap....there singer is horrible i this new album..but Jon and Matt still kick ass like they used to.....what do you think??? :banghead:

Either "Power of I and I" or "Idiot Box". "Idiot Box" has some kick ass bass drum in it.

I would say Art Of One Balance is my fave

i cant do it....i cant vote...all of the songs are great.....does anyone else agree that the solo in inspiration on demand is great.. those guitarists are so cool

Shadows fall is the best band alive. I am hoping to see them at Ozzfest.

They're guitarist are both very very good, but the vocals on the new album suckkk. i don't listen to them enough to say what song is the best

i dont know any cds, i just like the one song enlightened by the cold

i used to think those guys were amazing. not to say they arent, theyre extremely good musicians, but ive discovered better since i heard of them for the first time. the war within is probably the only album i have, and its good, but there are better bands out there.

I was skeptical of them at first, but they are pretty talented. I love the song What Drives the Weak, the whole album is amazing.

They have a song on guitar hero 2 and it is a great song!!!

i agree, great guitar work. but i like brian fair's vocals, mainly because his sound is so raw.

Great band. Saw them at Sounds of the Underground. One of the few bands that stuck out for me.
