They have an extra sense, and they'll be logging on in no time.

Weezer - Weezer (Blue)
Green Day - Dookie

Bought them on the same day back in '94, as a 9 year old. Great times

Get ready to be post-raped by anti-u2 hillbillies.

Rofl, seriously though, Joshua Tree is classic, new U2 stuff sucks.

I had older siblings and listened to many of their albums. I can't remember the first but I always listened to Aerosmith, Elton John, CCR, Eagles, etc.. My first actual purchase for myself was a Foreigner album. I also got all the 45 rpm hand-me-downs from my the local skating rink, I kind of grew up on 60's and early 70's top 40 as well as the B Sides.

B-Sides...now that's another subject...(I always liked the Beatles B-Sides)

BluesyRican 08-27-2007 07:43 PM

First rock cassette tape I ever listened too was Aerosmith Toys in the Attic. I was 7 and never looked back lol. Can't remember my first album I bought, I was always burning my friends cd's, Didn't start buying heavily till a few yrs ago, started getting old blues albums and up an coming rock artists.

DeVicci 08-29-2007 08:06 PM

Was the first Foghat album out. I got hooked on Sara Lee.

CaptainSuck 08-30-2007 06:06 PM

My first album was Mr. Bungle's s/t, when I was 13. Before then, I really didn't have any interest in music... oddly enough, it's still one of my favorite albums.

TheBadBrain 09-03-2007 01:12 PM

I don't remember exactly but i think it was System of a down-Toxicity.

My first was RHCP -What Hits!? I won it in a radio station contest. The contest was really for tickets to see some band at a bar but I was underage at the time so they gave me the runner up prize instead :(

Inuzuka Skysword 09-11-2007 07:48 PM

quiet riot - metal health

Blain 09-16-2007 12:59 AM

Would've been Meteora by Linkin Park, then probably Toxicity by SOAD. I would've been about 10.

138 09-23-2007 09:15 AM

The first one I really listened to was Sgt. Peppers a few years ago. That's what really started my music obsession. I would listen to it over and over again. I stole it from my grandparents. The first one I BOUGHT was Zeppelin's Early/Later Days. Or maybe it was Rubber Soul. They were both around the same time.

holdyoualways 09-23-2007 10:58 AM

djchameleon 09-23-2007 01:42 PM

anything that gets you out of the boy band phase is A-ok in my books.

I liked that album but one of my old roommates "borrowed" it indefinitely

Cari Lynn 09-23-2007 08:50 PM

My first album was Alanis Morisette's "Jagged Little Pill" album in 1995-1996 when I was 10-11, and it remains one of my favorite albums today.

Son of JayJamJah 09-23-2007 08:58 PM
