Personally, their older stuff was much better than their newer stuff. Their newer stuff is so over-rated and the band have become over-rated too IMO.
I love their older stuff, it's amazing..I love most of the songs from Californication too..awesome..did anyone go to see them live last year in the UK?

Under the bridge is my fav. My band plays a cover of that song and most people just soak it up. Its got a great riff.

IN MY OPINION they are sell outs. Before everyone starts having a go at me let me expain why!! If you listen to their older stuff, it was different it was jazzy and funky, and true they were popular. But now if you look at the recenet songs (especially Universially Speaking and other crap on the By The Way album) they have watered down their songs, and have become pop, and people love them for it. If they had kept their funky edge, but theve lost it, and its a shame that happened, coz they used to be good back in the early nineties...so yea know im gona get slated, but thats my opinion so yea...

I dont like Prince Phillip because he's a racist.I also dont like the Queen because she's German...so that leaves me in a funny situation

totally agree with, especially with universially speaking as thats just a really poor song to have even as a filler on an album let alone bring it out as a single.

And put it on the greatest hits... My most hated RHCP song ever, I really really can't stand it. I liked the rest of By The Way album though.. Some of it was pretty good. Obviously, not compared to BSSM though, but still good music.
