So? All the notable Beatles material came later and people sure as hell don't remember them for Help and A Hard Day's Night but I can see your point.

Actually, Help! is one of the first songs I think of when I hear their name. But I wasn't around at the time so I don't know if that counts.

Of course. Californication is an awesome song, so is their lastest album. A little depressing themes at times but a great concept album.
