RX Bandits were amazing.

Red Hot Chilli peppers are ****ing rad, classic band thatll never get old. What I love about RHCP is that they stay true to their roots and havent completely switched up their sound like Green Day and other similar bands that have been around since the mid 90's
Actually, they have changed their sound quite alot since they started in the early eighties..least to my ears . Bit more mellow sounding (take a song like "Snow" and compare it to "True men don't kill Coytes") with more of a balance. But you are right, definitly a great band.

that's also jack irons playing drums as well. again proving the point that a supergroup will not sound like the sum of its outward parts.

it's also a very young alain johannes leading that band as well. took me a while to recognize him physically but his voice hasn't changed much over the years.

no, we live in the same town. it's a very punk / metal town. unless you happen to be french and don't hate yourself for it (in which case you either go prog or country).

I extremely like the guitarist. John Frusciante has put out 10 incredible solo albums. And I would say I really like RHCP. Between BSSM, One Hot Minute, Calif, Btw, and Self Titled...thats a pretty damn strong resume. More than 90% of other bands can say.
