John is a guitar god
And another random fact that makes him so great is that he did the back up vocals on the By the way Album and to me the back up vocals made the album what it is.

And about metallica people are stupid
And don’t get real metallica fans

Frusciante is a great backup vocalist... check out his cover of How Deep Is Your Love on youtube. There are a few version floating around, but there's one really good one.

I own all of the Red hot chili Peppers cd
Fight like a brave is the funnest video ever.

I also have "give it away, now" tattoo on my wrist. I love the message behind that song
This velvet glove and Cant stop have to be my favorite songs

if anyone ever wants to talk chili peppers anytime I'm your girl
Haha yea i feel ya. I agree, although i am more into Frusciante's guitar then any of the other band members. His 10 or so solo albums are imo the best. Flea is very good though.

And welcome btw

Do you listen to other guitarists like him, Derek Trucks, john Mayor, etc...?

John Mayer is actually a great guitarist, as is evident from live videos. The thing is that he insists on doodling around in bluesy guitar pop rather than reaching his full potential. Having said that, I haven't listened to his newer albums which I've heard are less poppy. Nevertheless, I still enjoy Room For Squares... his bassist is rather good.

Let's rank their albums now... for me:

BSSM > OHM > MM > Cali > BTW > SA = FS > TUMPP > S/T

I like One Hot Minute a lot and I think By the Way is very underrated. I'm still not completely decided about Stadium Arcadium.
