Default Looking for bands like....

I have recently got into bands like AMBEON and MIDNATSOLL, I suppose you could call them GOTH METAL, but regular posters know my feelings on sub genres! anyhow I am looking for similar bands that still retain that melodic sensibility. I love atmosphere so any bands and links appreciated!

Great site. I'm constantly using it to give links to people here, and plugging it, but no one seems to notice...

Based on the two bands you mentioned, I think you'd really like, in fact I'm certain you'd enjoy: Draconian, Beseech, Forever Slave, Lake of Tears, Leaves' Eyes, Celestial Crown(sort of hard to find, at least for me, I had to order the CD from Ebay).

Therion is a bit more rock-based and less classical, but the elements are still there, and you might like them.

If you're into strange stuff, I suggest checking out Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows. Its just.....different.

*bump* *double post*
You ever check out those bands? Draconian "Slumber did my Spirit Seal" and "Morningstar" I recommend the most.
