Ah, I see. Soulful seems to mean gentle, and really bleeding heart type of thing, while passion could be a song about rape. That's how I see them anyway.

I doubt the dictionary considers passion, soulful and emotional completely different things.

passion: any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love or hate.

soulful: of or expressive of deep feeling or emotion: soulful eyes.

Note how passion is suggested to be a strong emotion, while soulful is deep. Like I said, similar, but not the same. You're splitting hairs more than I ever have.

I dont know why this is even being argued. Around the World is not soulfull or passionate, its simply about sex, and not the romantic kind. (just like there early music)
