I got the idea from Crowquill's thread. This is not to outshine him either. this is obviously genre specific and It's a genre I am fairly comfortable with. I will include metal now int his top 100 so get them lists up!

I've always thought King Crimson's Red was better than ITCOTCK, but the latter would win on importance/influence. I think Boo Boo would agree with me and I'm not the first one to consider Starless their finest moment. Both are great albums though.

I reckon Low is Bowie's best album, as does Urban. But it's completely down to opinion, and Bowie fans tend to have widely differing opinions on his best albums.

I'll suggest some more tomorrow.

I have only heard the one King Crimson album, so of course I will add them. My list is only rough and most of it will be removed. I'm torn between three Bowie albums personally-STATION TO STATION, LOW and HEROES. My opinion is always changing on which is my favourite.

Updated. Come on people more to add, what to take away. Even noobs can help! When we finally compile the 100 then it will be presented as the music banter top 100 and each album can be reviewed by different posters. So get first dibs in!
