Searching for a Good Stoner Rock Band
 

I listen to a lot of metal bands but I feel like listening to something different thats more laid back so please enlighten me with your infinite wisdom

I'm sure you're aware of Sublime...

I assume you're also aware of the 'main' bands in the genre (Sleep, Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula, Spiritual Beggars, etc)?

when i'm wantin to just chill out, i can never go wrong with the allman brothers,...old school yes,....but brilliant,....

I have to say what I have heard of Electric Wizard (DOPETHRONE) I'm not impressed. lazy Sabbath-esque riffs that have been heard a thousand times before. I much prefer ST.VITUS DANCE which is a Sabbath song and a great band from the early 90's

Sleep is pretty good.
