But when I started listening to AS, I thought I heard a strong resemblence between AS and Megadeth. I'm not sure if it's just me, or did AS take on after Megadeth?

he inspired me...sort of.

Two whole bands id have to say Metallica and Black Sabbath

Individuals-
Jimmy page- led zeppelin
Alex Van Halen
Flea- from RHCP

i havent thought wich frontman and these guys probably wouldnt compliment each others playing but they still rock

Zer0 01-15-2008 10:27 AM

I'd put together the Melvins and Big Business.
Oh wait it's been done ...

Urban Hat€monger ? 01-15-2008 11:46 AM

Kevin Shields & Primal Scream.

They missed him badly on the last album.

15Steps 01-15-2008 12:50 PM

This one I like, but I can top: Hantanarash and Britney Spears!

Hmmm... What about: Koenji Hyakkei + The Sun Ra Arkestra. That music would **** the world over ten thousand times.

Necromancer 11-15-2011 12:41 PM

Stop being sarcastic and be constructive.

mmmm lets see C.C. Deville and Jimi Hendrix would make a great guitar tandem act.

How about Buckethead and Jimi Hendrix? Jimi could provide the sensuality and Buckethead could bring the emotion.:tramp:

i'll raise your Buckethead + Jimi Hendrix + C.C. Deville and up the ante with Dream Theater with Yngwie J. Malmsteen

now THAT would be awesome band

(srsly, though, it could happen, Yngwie has expressed his admiration for DT)

Goofle 11-15-2011 08:21 PM

Reni (drummer) from 'The Stone Roses' would sound great backing up Jimi Hendrix, John Entwistle and Mark E. Smith.

Mondo Bungle 11-16-2011 06:16 PM

Ministry and the Dead Kennedys duh.

killcreek 11-16-2011 07:32 PM

bread and morbid angel would be good together

Kip1985 11-20-2011 10:42 PM

I always thought a supergroup comprised of James Hetfield & Lars Ulrich (Metallica) and Dave Mustaine & David Ellefson (Megadeth) would be a great musical entity. Although I wouldn't prefer James or Dave on vocals, I'm not sure who I'd want in that department.

I`d imagine that could be Dave Mustaine`s dying wish.

Electrophonic Tonic 11-21-2011 04:33 PM

musiclistsareus 11-24-2011 01:54 AM

Ocasek + Krieger + Manzarek + Densmore

= the Car-Doors

bad joke-sorry

I'd like to hear Elvis, or, since that is impossible, a really good Elvis impersonator, cover the Bruce Springsteen songbook.

Jedey 11-25-2011 05:56 AM

Since The Who lost their Bass & Drums and the surviving Beatles are Bass & Drums, why not The Who-tles?

The big problem there is, the walking dead version will have even less brain cells than before.
