which two would you choose

Two whole bands id have to say Metallica and Black Sabbath
Individuals- Jimmy page- led zeppelin Alex Van Halen Flea- from RHCP i havent thought wich frontman and these guys probably wouldnt compliment each others playing but they still rock |
I'd put together the Melvins and Big Business.
Oh wait it's been done ... |
Kevin Shields & Primal Scream.
They missed him badly on the last album. |
to make one band i would take -
This would make a WICKED Funk Metal band Buckethead - Guitar Les Claypool - Bass Anthony Kiedis - Vocals Neil Peart - Drums |
another one
Funk Rock Jimi Hendrix - Guitar Flea - Bass James Brown - Vocals John Bonham - Drums |
Merzbow & The Beatles

Hmmm... What about: Koenji Hyakkei + The Sun Ra Arkestra. That music would **** the world over ten thousand times. |
Metallica and Lou Reed.

i'll raise your Buckethead + Jimi Hendrix + C.C. Deville and up the ante with Dream Theater with Yngwie J. Malmsteen
now THAT would be awesome band (srsly, though, it could happen, Yngwie has expressed his admiration for DT) |
Reni (drummer) from 'The Stone Roses' would sound great backing up Jimi Hendrix, John Entwistle and Mark E. Smith.
|
Ministry and the Dead Kennedys duh.

They're alright.
|
bread and morbid angel would be good together
|
I always thought a supergroup comprised of James Hetfield & Lars Ulrich (Metallica) and Dave Mustaine & David Ellefson (Megadeth) would be a great musical entity. Although I wouldn't prefer James or Dave on vocals, I'm not sure who I'd want in that department.

A few off the top of my head...
-Swans & Lou Reed -Vanilla Fudge & Deep Purple -Donovan & Roy Harper -Elton John & Supertramp |
Tool & The Mara Volta
The Clash & The Smiths Dethklok & Gorillaz Brian Eno & The Chemical Brothers |
some sort of MOR supergroup with members from Kansas, Styx, Journey, REO Speedwagon and Boston
sorta like the American version of Asia |
Current 93 & Swans
Boris & Melt-Banana Bathory & something ambient. |
I guess I'll just throw this out there... Nirvana and Dinosaur Jr:
Kurt Cobain on vocals J Mascis on guitar Lou Barlow on bass Dave Grohl on drums |
Girlschool & Motorhead
uh, no wait, that already happened |
The Stone Roses and The Roots
Imagine Black Thought spitting over Reni's drum loops... **happy place** |
Ocasek + Krieger + Manzarek + Densmore
= the Car-Doors
bad joke-sorry I'd like to hear Elvis, or, since that is impossible, a really good Elvis impersonator, cover the Bruce Springsteen songbook. |
Since The Who lost their Bass & Drums and the surviving Beatles are Bass & Drums, why not The Who-tles?
