In Utero all the way. I think Dave's drumming made the album. Nevermind was just hyped because of Smells Like Teen Spirits. Don't get me wrong, it was a great album but In Utero had I feel better lyrics, Dave's drumming was sick, and I think it was a much better production than the other albums...Which could also be a bad thing.

In Utero

...Nevermind has its pros too.

Who could not love Radio Unit Shifter and Tourette...two songs you dont usually hear in an album released by a big label

I felt In Utero was a very bland attempt for Cobain to attempt to do a sludge album ala Melvins. I don't know why people praise it, it's a rather dull album. A few shinning spots, but not that shinning.

What record were you listening to? It does not even sound remotely close to an attempt at a sludge album.

I love all 3 of their studio albums.

Reall can not pick between Nevermind and In Utero.

Nevermind. I find In Utero devoid of any good tunes.

With the exception of "Heart Shaped Box", and "Rape Me" the entire thing has a darker, slower tone than previous Nirvana works. Personally, it's just dull. Only real success to come out of the darker less "Aerosmith" style of writing was Milk It.
