I played a mellotron, they arent so easy to play either, at least not if you want to play it well.

Playing a 3 chords and trying to write a whole musical piece on mellotron are two completely different things

And why in the hell are you comparing guitars to mellotrons?

I cant believe you use Cobains lack of skill on guitar as a reason to bash the band, most of your precious indie bands blow at their instruments, you're not bashing them for it.

Well, it serves no point in this discussion... Making some good riffs on guitar are not like playing mellotron, it's completely different.

Whats that supposed to mean? Moses?

I think the only reason Nirvana are the legends they are today, is because Cobain killed himself. He was the most ambitious musician who played grunge, if mother love bone had tried as hard as he did to hit the big time, they would have blown up and not Cobain. I never bashed Cobain's guitar playing. That certainly is the reason I don't like Nirvana. Nirvana is so overhyped. The only thing I can acredit them for, is inspiring people to listen to good music. They are like the gateway drug of music.

I compared to a mellowtron to tell Death Of Capitalism that it doesn't take talent to play an instrument, it takes talent to play an instrument well.

You missed the point.
Death of Capitalism said it takes talent to play an instrument, I told him any monkey can play an intrument, it takes a talented one to play it well.

He played it well enough.

The strech between a guitar and a mellotron is pretty big. But it did prove your point that anyone can play anything without any knowledge about it. Now if they can play it well is the question.

Nor is Jeff Mangum or Issac Brock.

I don't dislike Nirvana because Cobain wasn't John Petrucci, so I don't know what you're trying to prove.
