Marijan's pants are going to be tighter than Nirvana once he listens to your music.

If Cobain hadn't died Nirvana would have been played out by their already increasing popularity on MTV and eventually faded from superstardom, Cobain would have came back ten years later to be on Dancing With the Stars, and Grohl would have still been in Foo Fighters.
Krist try to rise to fame again with Cobain but no one would accept them.

However, this would never be possible anyway, because Courtney would have killed him even if he didn't commit suicide.

Voila, different scenario.

I think Kurt Cobain put it better than anyone else here, and also might explain where he would be right now "It's better to burn out, than fade away." so there you have it, he would rather just go away rather than still makeing music and no one listening to it.

I think Neil Young put it better.

^That is probably so true, Snickers.
Who cares where they would've been? They made good songs while they were around. And to people that think Cobain stood for something (I dunno if anyone does, can't be bothered to back read) Kurt didn't want to stand for anything, that was his whole point. Their was no deeper side to Nirvana, maybe to Kurt, but they were just teen angst produced music. Connect with that, not their image. I had to say that, coz their are people that like Nirvana just coz it's cool to, and it bugs me.
