I totally disagree

There grunge....Which reminds me grunge deserves it's own part of the forum...please!!

GravitySlips 06-12-2007 02:04 PM

They were pretty punk for a grunge band.

Loser 06-12-2007 02:07 PM

Well yeah, grunge was a mix of punk and metal some bands sound more punk, others sound more metal. Nirvana in their Nevermind album sounded sort of like punk but not quite there.

GravitySlips 06-12-2007 02:18 PM

I was never a big fan of most grunge, but Nirvana came from a much more punk background than most grunge bands.

Nirvana are certainly not a "punk rock" band though.

I think this entire thread is responding in audio/political agendas.

I think we should judge the band by what you think, judge the music by what you think, and know that when people come back with snarky, sarcastic, condescending rhetoric their just wrapping their responses in the same fear that we've seen above.

In my opinion Nirvana had a strong punk influence, and some of their stuff I would call punk, but I don't think all the did was punk.

Actually no. But what makes you ask?

And if you're another member who's come to take me out, get in line or join the support group.

I thought what i posted was spot on, and I thought your post was delete worthy simply because you not only didn't add anything to the conversation but you also failed at being humorous. Stay on topic friend.
