honestly i never took the time to disect his lyrics. does that make me fake? all I know is that bleach is their best album, most of you guys are still drooling over unplugged and nevermind, and blah. there's so much nirvana propaganda on this site alone, who wouldn't jump on the bandwagon?

We merely wernt given the headstart like you. Think before you speak next time eh? thanks.
nicely said.

I can't stand Nirvana, nor can I understand the hype surrounding them. Kurt Cobain was a boring guitarist and a horrible vocalist, Krist Novoselic was a boring bassist, and Dave Grohl was a boring drummer. Nothing wrong with simplicity; the song "Heroin" is built around two chords, but it's a fantastic song, and many Dylan and CCR songs only use three or four chords. But Nirvana is simply really, really, excruciatingly boring (which throws out Cobain being a good songwriter, eh?).

I also love how people act like Cobain was Gen X's Bob Dylan, when he wasn't even close to being the best songwriter of the past 20 years.

ok, it's your opinion i just don't agree with any of your words... kurt had a great voice and he wasn't "boring". how the fu*k can you be boring while playing "lithium" for example?? nirvana isn't boring just because people listen to it too much and get bored of it

ive never heard of kurt being compared to dylan. you may find them boring but im pretty sure a hell of a lot of people disagree with you.
