After reading this thread, the only post I agree with was david frost's when he said muicbanter should be changed to ****banter. This thread turned into a waste of space after the third post. *click*

Default Nirvana

yeah, yeah, I know....say what you will, but they are an amazing band, and they should not be forgotten in the times....
Kurt was a very talented little junkie who lived in his head, but that was what the people wanted and that is exactly what they got!
they gave us something to scream about and something to think about, they non sensical lyrical content may have seemed pointless, but deeper reflection will show that they had a odd truth about the world and the human phycie underlying.....
anyway, long thread short....I just wanted everyone to post about them if they wish to, or at least remember what they brought us, and how they changed music in their own way....

Please don't over-react again, but I strongly recommend using the Seach Forums option in the Forums Jump toolbar. You will discover that Nirvana is far from forgotten on this site, with over a hundred related topics as the evidence. It is often better to bring back old threads rather than create "more-of-the-same" threads. These threads shouldnt be thought of as the "flavor of the week". Just because people havent posted in them in a while does not mean they are done with. Bring back old ones, read comments that have already been made.

ok.. i don't even know what to say... i love this band but since you guys started this whole overrated bands threads and they were mentioned everywhere...i dunno, i feel kinda weird because i had never thought about them as guys looking for fame or whatever. though i love their music and nothing's gonna change that. at least not other people but myself

You can still love a band even if they are over-rated... Just because there's too much hype about them doesnt mean you cant like 'em. I used to absolutely love Nirvana, I was to be the kid who always had Nirvana in her headphones... But I dunno what happened, after the years I guess I just found new music, Nirvana got kinda boring after listening to them so much and not hearing anything new of theirs. I should really re-light my Nirvana fire...

that's why I made this thread, and I don't wanna bring back the old threads mainly because, they were old thoughts, we change and grow everyday, as does our opinions....

I dont think people are gonna be changing their opinions on the matter. We've had 11 years to do that.
