Kurt Cobain was a near talentless ****. He released two decent albums in his entire career one of which was mainly comprised of covers of bands far greater than Nirvana could ever be. The only reason Nirvana isn't forgotten now is because Cobain put a shotgun to his mouth. If not for that Nirvana would just be another nineties has-been band and Cobain would be on I Love The Nineties with Eddie Vedder talking about Furbies. Seriously, people. Get the over him, check out some of his influences. The Pixies, Sonic Youth, The Vaselines, the Meat Puppets, Husker Du, and My Bloody Valentine for starters. Nirvana could never be as annoying as the retarded Nirvana fans however...

Honestly, I think this is a great post. And you probably got banned for stating some unpopular opinions. I highlighted some of the comments that I either really liked or got a good laugh out of.

As far as the person who made the Joy Division influence claim, I don't see that at all. Add the Melvins to the above list, and you've got a good group of bands that receive far less attention combined than the collective ejaculation of fanatics who still believe in the Cobain murder fantasy/conspiracy.
