well i did a hell of alot of research into this as i did a piece of art on him for my exam.
i believe he was murdered, it is quite clear on the map of the crime scene that he was murdered aswell.
his friends say that he wasnt suicidal, but the police never took it far enough, so i guess we will never no!

I say Courtney made him take his own life by playing him demos from the next Hole album.
