We went back there and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

i feel bad for anyone who bought bleach when it came out and thought they had something killer. because that album kicks so much ass. nevermind, what is this, production? theyre good but kurt knew exactly what he was doing when he signed to geffen and he wrote nevermind. ive read saying that he didnt want the fame that he hated it, bs, if thats so true stay with sub-pop

Kurt didnt want to be super famous, but he did want to make good out of his career, hence the move to geffen.

Tons of bands do it without being considered sellouts, like Radiohead.

No sir, they had many more influences than The Wipers, their early work was spun from The Melvins and Black Flag more than anything.... Then it was Pixies, Neil Young, Jesus And Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, a lot of others.

Dont be such a clown, your sarcasm has horrible timing, try saying something that isnt meant to be a joke... It's not that hard.
