Being a fan dosent make me a fanboy, i didnt make a thread on how Nirvana is better than everyone else, like you did with KISS.

You made a very stupid claim however, which was KISS being the most influencial band of the 70s next to Zeppelin.

they are. They won the 1977 Gallup Poll, the most well known band in N.America, anyway. They had hit albums and atop ten single and even a TV movie they were so big.

Wow a TV movie.

Thats rubbish, take The Who for example, their cultural impact is light years greater than KISSe's, they had 3 movies, ALL in the 70s too. They have appeared on more magazine covers than any other rock band i can think of next to The Beatles and The Stones... And MANY of their songs are well known among everybody...Most people probably cant even name more than 2 KISS songs, unless they are fans of the band, of course.

And Pink Floyd had The Wall, which is a cult classic, i dont see KISSe's TV movie selling tons of copies on DVD now do i?

No just using your crappy logic, which makes Pink Floyd better.

But Pink Floyd isn't a hard rock band. SO the comparison is useless.

ABBA and The Bee Gees have more incommon with Pink Floyd than KISS.
