Revis or Edgewater (genre, album, quote, bands, songs)

Anybody ever listen to either of these bands? They are a couple of my faves. Revis has been broken up for some time now but I still listen to their album regularly. Edgewater is a local Dallas band and I believe the are now broken up (as of last summer). I'm currently in search of other bands of a similar genre, any suggestions?

I've only heard Eyes Wired Shut from Edgewater.......you might like guano apes.....check them out......they broke up also too but open your eyes....big in japan and break the line are some of their good songs to check out

Not Bad! Thanks for the info. I can definitely see myself gettting into them. Too bad they're broken up.

Anyone else know of any similar bands that may have not been given the time or $$ from lables but deserve it.

btw (don't flame me) what genre would these bands be considered? I'm quite confused on the genres/subgenres
