Default Who Were The Best Bands Of 90s Britpop?

Just how many bands of that movement can really be described as great? Obvious nominees are Blur and Oasis. Suede started off a great band.

Who else can be said to have made a really worthy contribution to music?

Well. I mean, if Oasis makes it to the Rock section, I don't see why not. Britpop is rock music at the end of the day; aside from that it was very mainstream, and most of it was major label too. So I see it as more rock than indie/alternative.

I'll add Pulp to this. I have no idea how I could have forgotten them.

Oasis in the Rock & Metal category....NO!, In my personal opinion. Indie/Alternative....Yes. I like Oasis alot as a band, They could be classified as one of the core bands within there style of music. (in my opinion) They have been around a long time & so many other bands have tried to copy there sound & style. One of the great British Bands-Oasis.

Well no doubt about Oasis. I'm interested in seeing how many forgotten gems there are. If any.
