True, Megadeth is better than the New METALLICA!, but as for the OLD METALLICA being better than Megadeth.....
.....I Suppose that is personal preference.

If you asked someone (who wasn't a fan) to tell you which was metallica, and which was megadeth. I think they would have to wait for the vocals to start before they could even tell that they were diff bands!

I think that the only really big diff between the two, is the vocals, and on the later stuff, the guitars to a certain extent. This is because when Megadeth was formed, Dave Mustaine had just left Metallica, and so his "Metallica Roots" would be coming thru in his music!

.....Or maybe thats just me....

very well put

I don't think this should be a debate, i thought it was very obvious who the better band was... but i guess other people disagree. (surprised)

i would have to say that megadeath is better than metalica because they never made any sucky music ever and plus the songs are better. i think that people who are realy into metal and know about a good amount of older metal would have to agree with me.

Both Megadeth and Metallica kick major ass! Dave has some good riffs and solos and so does Hammet. But Metallica is more famous and has set the greatest influence in today's metal
