Lol I did, I thought this thread was about what introduced you to rock. Not what kinda CD would you make for someone trying to get into rock music.

After I realised my mistake I took that post and made a thread out of it instead.

So anyway. What I would do is make something very diverse, something from every rock genre. Then ask that person what he/she likes and he/she dosen't like. Then I based on the songs that person likes I would find some albums to recommend.

A mixed CD with everything from Dead Kennedys to Jethro Tull.
