There is no ultimate Playlist and if you think that you have found it then you will always miss out on what's around the corner.

I think that you will get flamed (rightly or wrongly) for your choices and requests for recommendations. If you like Punk then you have to have some classics in there and I am certainly no expert on EMO, but The Used are way off. Alexisonfire and I Would Set Myself On fire For You are better examples. Hardcore? Try anything from CBGB'S ERA and Metalcore is a genre term I detest but Bullet do NOT FIT that criteria. Non-Point do.

I am not having a dig . just worried about the backlash that will ensue!

I know that it's true that there is no Ultimate Playlist, I'm just looking for suggestions on what is "in" right now.

I do like Alexisonfire, and I don't mind some punk classics like London Calling - The Clash.

I think this is what they call Metalcore these days.Non-Point. I don't mind this band:

Great riffs. A product of the CBGB'S scene but a slight whiff of commercialism on this track but still good.Prong:

Hardcore:

Emo.A great band (IWSMSOFFY):

You might like Alter Bridge, if you haven't heard of them already. "Ties That Bind" is a good one.
