Ahleuchatistas (instrumental, jazz, rock, album, myspace)

They're from Asheville, North Carolina and I guess they're kind of math rock. I mean I guess but they're really jazzy. They kind of sound like a vague mixture of The Nation of Ulysses, Ultra Dolphins, June of 44 and Melt Banana, well, sort of. They're completely instrumental. Some of their stuff is pretty progressive while other is pretty brief. I don't really have a favorite album. I like em all. And they look pretty sick live, ch-check it

really talented band. don't listen to them much but they've got the goods...would love to see them live as well.

yea, of course, it might take a while I don't think I have any links laying around.

...this is the band I pull out when ever someone starts pulling on Cynic's nuts. As far as NC goes they don't usually play anywhere east of Greensboro, which is a nice 2 hour drive and Asheville is 6. Which pretty much means I'd have to book the show if I ever get to see them.
